New Release! THE BUCKLE BUNNIES SERIES!

You can now get all the books in my bestselling THE BUCKLE BUNNIES SERIES all in a complete set! It's all about hot, hunky rodeo riders and the women who can't get enough of them! There are three books in the first volume of the series, including two m/f/m ménages and one f/f/m. They were originally released individually in ebook, and were so wildly popular, I decided to release them in a complete set, which is available in ebook or print!

In the first book, RIDE OF HER LIFE, a barrel rider meets up with two hunky broc riders at the Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas. She’s crossed paths with them other times, but before an event they'd all been too focused on competition, and afterward they’d been too sore and tired to do anything but fall into bed. This time there’s a different vibe in the air. When the flirting starts it doesn’t stop and Daisy goes upstairs with both of them for a completely different kind of rodeo ride!

In TEAM ROPING, the second book in the series, a sexy bar owner has a pair of steer ropers competing for her attention. She can't choose between the two men, so she tells them she won't sleep with either of them, unless she sleeps with both of them—at the same time

RIDE ‘EM HARD, the third book in the series, is also a hot cowboy ménage, only this time it's about two friends sharing a hunky bull rider. While both women are game for a sexy threesome, neither of them expect to the night to go where it does!

I Know You Are, But What am I?

I've met so many wonderful authors along this publication journey. And among that awesome, gifted group AJ Nuest stands out. And that's saying something! She is not only a fantastic writer, but she's freaky, scary smart, I-Need-to-Charge-You-to-Listen-to-Me funny, and I'd-Hate-You-If-I-Didn't-Love-You talented. The day we met my own writing career took a turn for the better. She's a great author and an even better friend. I'm so pleased and honored to welcome AJ Nuest to the Naughty Author Chicks!! *crowd goes wild*

Thank you Naima Simone and the Naughty Author Chicks for allowing me to hijack their blog in celebration of my KINDLE FREE DAYS for She’s Got Dibs!  Whoo Hoo! I’m very excited to be here!!

At the risk of sounding like a fortune cookie, I am who I write. Yep. Each character I create—young or old, good or bad—is me to some degree or another. Although, I must admit, rarely do their lives resemble mine, at least not in its current state. Take Tessa, my heroine, from She’s Got Dibs. She’s not the AJ of today. She’s AJ from twenty…er…many, many years ago.

***the screen blurs with crazy waves as eerie music warbles through the speakers***

We harken back through time, to the days when AJ was still single and all Sheryl Crow wanted was to have to some fun (and she got the feeling, she’s not the only one).

 AJ Then (Tessa’s Life)

The words “What’s for dinner?” did not exist. When I got hungry, I went to the store or nearest diner, bought what I wanted and ate it. My refrigerator was empty save for a few packets of takeout ketchup (or mayo—a girl can never be too careful) and a half-empty bottle of wine.

AJ Now

The words “What’s for dinner?” hit at 4:00pm and continue at fifteen-minute intervals throughout the evening until said dinner is prepared, served and eaten, at which time the words “What’s for dessert?” begin. I have not seen the back wall of my refrigerator in fifteen years.

AJ Then (Tessa’s Life)

I didn’t own a car. No need. The Chicago Transit Authority and a stream of unending cabs took me anywhere I wanted to go for a nominal fee. Or I walked. GASP!

AJ Now

Two trucks, an SUV, a motorcycle, two ATVs, a dirt bike, a camper, two scooters and four pedal bikes. What. The. Hell. Exactly how many modes of transportation does one family need? That’s just obscene.

AJ Then (Tessa’s Life)

No pets. I came home to change my clothes, have a snack or when I needed sleep. I tried owning a plant once, but evidently they need to be watered occasionally or they die. Who knew?

AJ Now

We’re actually running low on the pet meter with just two dogs and two cats. We’ve been known to host up to ten cats depending on the strays that arrive—pregnant—and decide to hole up in our garage. We also owned a fancy rat at one time. Don’t ask. I’ve long since decided I’m never going there again. Oh, and I now have a huge vegetable garden and an apple orchard.

AJ Then (Tessa’s Life)

No exercise routine. Well…unless dancing in nightclubs counts as a “routine”. Didn’t really matter because I weighed 115 lbs. and wore a size four. If I wanted to wear my skinny jeans, I skipped the previous night’s dinner. The next morning I woke up having magically lost 7 lbs. In short, I sucked. No one knows this better than me.

AJ Now

I haul my chubby butt out of bed at 6:00am every morning—yes, all seven days a week—and ride an average of five miles on my pedal bike. I sometimes repeat this routine after dinner, two kids in tow. My life is a steady stream of exercise, reading product labels and tracking my fat intake in an effort to control a heinous cholesterol gene.

Yep, I was Tessa all right. Yet for as much fun and freedom as I had back then, I wouldn’t change my life and return to being that woman for anything in the world. No way, no how. I know my life is messy and chaotic. It’s filled with dirty laundry, hairballs and a garbage can that is ALWAYS full. (ß Seriously, how does that even happen?) And while it was a blast to relive the past and pretend I was Tessa Adams while writing She’s Got Dibs—live as an ultra chic event planner who condos in a downtown Chicago high rise and is dating a gorgeous millionaire—I’m happy being the AJ of right now. After all, I’m the one who gets to be the heroine in my next book, as well. J

If you’re interested in finding out more about Tessa’s life, be sure to download your FREE COPY of She’s Got Dibs, available at Amazon through June 29th!

Book blurb:
True love does not exist…or so event planner Tessa Adams learns the day she gets jilted—twenty-four hours prior to walking down the aisle. One-night stands are much easier, and with sexy philanthropists like David Brenner, how can she resist? Now if she could just get rid of him. Had she known the biggest event of her career would be working for David’s father, she would have cut and run. Instead, she’s unwittingly become a part of his parents' plan to destroy his life-long dreams. Will sacrificing her love protect him or be the ultimate betrayal?

Wealthy and gorgeous, David Brenner seemingly holds the world in the palm of his hand—his generous heart and infectious smile are just two in an endless stream of attractive qualities. But the one thing he wants, he can’t have—a repeat of the passionate night he spent in the arms of a skittish Tessa Adams. His family’s far-reaching power threatens to crush their dreams. To prove his love, he would risk everything…but will the return of her ex-fiancé be their final undoing?

Excerpt:

“Dibs.” He extended his hand.

Frowning, she accepted his greeting. “Dibs on what?

“No.” He chuckled. “That's my name. Or well, actually, my nickname. Either way, it's what everyone calls me.”

“O-o-okay...” The guy definitely had the smolder covered...and those incredible ice-blue eyes. Yikes!

“And you are?”

“Oh, Tessa Adams.” She laughed.

“And everyone calls you...?”

Her frown returned. “Tessa.”

“Oh.” He scanned her face. “No nickname, huh?”

“Not that I recall at the moment.”

He pressed his full lips together as if restraining a smile, eyes twinkling with merriment, and handed her the notepad. “Here's your confirmation number. The room's at the Waldorf Towers over on Park.”

Two suites at the Waldorf? In this mess? What was he, a wizard? “Wow, great. Thanks so much for the help.”

“Glad to be of service.” He retrieved his briefcase and started down the corridor, abruptly stopped, and peered at her over the perfect slant of his shoulder. “And don't worry, Tessa, I'll think of a good nickname for you.”

She offered him a blank stare. “Hey, knock yourself out.”

Mischief danced along his lips before a grin broke free and he continued down the hallway.

“What a whack job,” she muttered.

The Pepper O'Malley Chronicles Part 4: Under the Sushi Yum Yum Tree

Who doesn’t love sushi?

Rolled-up, tasty tidbits of flavors bursting on your tongue. Spicy, crimson tuna, purple-hued octopus tendrils, buttery yellow fin that dissolves in your mouth.

Pepper O'Malley, my heroine in NAKED SUSHI, a Cosmo Red-Hot Read from Harlequin (October 2013) finds out how sexy sushi can be:

"Out of work and desperate, I had no choice but to take this gig if I wanted to survive. So here I was, lying on a table nude except for a shiny pink thong, banana leaf, and yellow pom-pom chrysanthemums, which covered my breasts.

A live sushi plate.

Rose petals lay scattered around me, and was that pickled ginger I smelled?

What if I sneezed?

It got worse when I saw the gorgeous man who got me fired from my computer job grabbing a sliver of red tuna off my belly, pinching me.

Ouch, that hurt.

He gave me that “sorry, babe” look that got me into trouble in the first place. Those smoldering dark eyes of his had led me into temptation. Self-assured and no doubt used to getting his own way, he oozed danger from every pore. I would have followed him to hell if he’d asked me."

Sushi is not the only sensual food to tempt your palette and your man. As I write in my nonfiction book, The Japanese Art of Sex:

Imagine a meal that begins with a scoop of toro tartare, moist, raw, deep red tuna, topped with glistening, gray-green beluga caviar, awaiting you in a gleaming glass bowl. You spread the mixture on dominoes of bread, fragrant from toasting on the hibachi.
The warm toast, fat-rich tuna freshly smelling of the sea, and the cool, salty caviar are a sensual, suggestive encounter of mingled flavors, texture, scent and vision…many Japanese foods border on the exotic, such as pouring gold flakes over diced shrimp sitting atop a tubular piece of white marble.

Pepper doesn’t have gold flakes scattered on her body when she becomes a naked sushi model—but the hero’s kisses are golden!

"Boston Strong"...and New Kids on the Block

Throughout my lifetime—which has been admittedly short because I’m only, like, 25-ish—I’ve had obsessions. Some have waned over the years, but others have persevered. Twinkies. Michael Jackson. Corey Feldman. Coffee. Ireland. Vin Diesel.

While Twinkies, Mike and Corey have all fallen by the proverbial wayside—like in a deep, dark ditch never to be resurrected again!—my love affairs with coffee, Ireland and Vin (sigh) have survived the tests of time. Let’s face it. Coffee is God’s way of saying, “I love you!” every morning…and afternoon…and evening. Ireland is “God’s Country”, and Vin…Well, Vin is God’s Gift to womankind. Voice, muscles, bald head. *Squiggy knuckle bite*

But there’s been another obsession that started waaay back in the day. Hold up. Wait. How old am I again? Oh that’s right 24. So, y’know, it started a few years ago.

My love for the city of Boston.

Are you from Boston, you ask. Have you ever lived there, you wonder. Do you have family there, you inquire. No, unh-unh, and not even a play cousin. So how did my passion for this great city begin? Umm...cue hemming and hawing...

New Kids on the Block.

Fine! New Kids on the Block! There! I said it! I'll Be Loving You Forever. Please Don't Go Girl. Donnie Wahlburg--whom I still love, and if he showed up on my doorstep today, I'd tie him to my bed and show him I have The Right Stuff! Get it? Get it? The song The Right Stuff? *roll eyes* Yeah, you don't want to admit you get it, but you do! Anyhoo, I was a total NKOTB fanatic! I had the big buttons, t-shirts, bought the Teen Beat and Big Bop magazines to collect their pictures, dolls... Ayiight! Yes! I had a doll! Sheesh. I thank you not to judge.

But as I was saying, since I was in lu-uv with Donnie, I also fell in complete adulation with his hometown. I mean, it was where we'd move when we married. I'd spend hours writing love stories about us meeting (he was him and I was the lead guitarist in a rock band) and how he took one looong, hooded, sensual (yes, even at 12 I knew how a man in lust gazed at a woman!) look at me and couldn't do without me in his life. And of course my mad guitar skills just wowed the hell outta him! We'd date, fight, make-up, marry and move to Boston. So along with doctoring phoney birth certificates for our three children, I also researched the city of Boston, it's diverse neighborhoods and proud people. And though my obsession with the New Kids waned--a little--my love for Boston grew and lasted through the years.

Many of us first learned about Boston in grade school with the Boston Tea Party and the Battle of Bunker Hill during the Revolutionary War. It's one of the oldest cities in the United States, and is so rich with history. From Beacon Hill to South End, to Dorchester to Jamaica Plain, the people are as diverse as the neighborhoods. I can imagine travelling from one end of the massive city to the other would be like sampling a smorgasbord of cultures. Italy, Ireland, Vietnam, Asia, India, South America... The city is saturated with colleges and universities, theatres, museums, and let's not forget sports. Although I would like to forget. I mean Troy Polamalu doesn't play for any of their sports teams... But as someone who is unwillingly entangled in the Auburn-Alabama feud just because of geography, I can appreciate the fierce pride Bostonians have in their sports teams. Don't understand it, but appreciate it... But like I said, Troy doesn't play, sooo....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Boston_Montage.jpgWhen the bombing at the Boston Marathon occurred on April 15, 2013, I was home, watching television and caught the first of the news footage only two hours after it happened. I was shocked and so saddened. First, because of the evil and complete disregard for human life that would allow someone to commit such a heinous act of terrorism. Second, because of the devastation, grief and loss that so many families would face in the aftermath. But as we all saw in the hours and days afterward, the people of this city rallied and demonstrated why they are "Boston Strong". The courage, tirelessness and strength displayed by Boston's people from law enforcement to every day citizens was not just phenomenal, but inspiring. My new release, Secrets and Sins: Gabriel, from Entangled Publishing's Entangled Suspense line is set in Boston. And while I love the city, after this horrifying event followed up by the power of the human spirit, I'm so proud of the setting for Gabriel, as well as the three other books in the series. There isn't a better, more beautiful, stronger city for a story of good triumphing over evil, hope, healing and love.

Next week, I hope you join me on my blog tour for the release of Secrets and Sins: Gabriel where you can win Gabriel's Boston Strong Swag Pack and an Amazon Gift Card!

For this week--June 17th through the 21st--I'm offering a $15 Amazon Gift Card and an ARC of Gabriel! You can go here to entere!

Lori Foster Get Together!

The Lori Foster Get Together is one of the best conferences around, and this year's was no exception!

Even though it didn't officially start until Thursday, hubby and I got there on Wednesday. After checking in, we headed over to our favorite restaurant PF Changs where we talked books, then went back to the hotel and hung out. We got to sleep in the next morning, which was bliss, then did some writing before going over to IKEA, where we promptly lost ourselves in the wonders of home decor and furnishings for a couple hours. If we didn't have dinner reservations that night, we might still be there! Yeah, we love that place!

That night it was back to PF Changs (told you it was our favorite restaurant!) for dinner with Monette Michaels, whom we met the first time we went to Lori's and have been good friends with ever since. Dinner with her at Changs has become a tradition. After that, it was back to the hotel to regsiter and get our badges, then hang out at the meet and greet. It was the first time Lori had something on Thursday like that, and hope she does it again because it was so much fun! Hubby and I hung out with the fangirls from my Street Team - Brenda Wheeler, Janet Juengling-Snell, Cindy Overton, Kimberly Radicy-Rocha and Barb Ledbetter - as well as fellow Romance Divas Maddy Barone and Robyn Bachar, and their friends Jessica P. and Diana B., along with Kathryn M. Oh, and there was a DJ for dancing. Yay!

Surprisingly, we didn't stay up too late that night. Mostly because we had to be up early the next day to help stuff goody bags. You get to meet lots of new people while doing it, so it's always fun! It took most of the day, though, so we didn't get to hang out much until dinner. Then it was time for the book signing. It's one of the highlights of the conference because I get to meet so many people. Even recruited some new members for my Street Team! Love it! Afterward, we met Desiree Holt and her daughter in the bar, which rocked!

We slept in again on Saturday, then spent the day hanging out with everyone until crazy late that night! Man, were we tired the next day! But it was worth it!

Can't wait until next time!

I have pictures on my FB page, so hope you'll stop by!

Sexy Beach Reads

By: Casey Crow

Hard to believe summer is upon us. Where did the first half of 2013 go? One of the best things about summertime for me is hanging out at the beach, and luckily, I live near the coast. I love a good beach read - nothing too dark, just fun, and above all else, SEXY. My f/m erotic DANCE WITH A MILLIONAIRE will definitely fit the bill and turn up the heat.

Southern belle Campbell Layne is the rising star of the Manhattan Ballet Theatre, providing she lands the upcoming principal role. The stage heats up, however, when Rod Carrington steps in and teaches her more than she ever expected.

Campbell is determined to stay focused on the audition that will push her into stardom, but the dazzling attorney she meets at a gala proves to be a major distraction especially when he ends up being her professor in a college class she’s taking in her spare time. Campbell humiliates herself on their first date, but that doesn’t stop Rod from whisking her off to Italy and turning her into quite the vixen. Too bad he also had to use his powerful influence to secure the lead for her. Now she’ll never know if her talent was real or “bought” by the man she thought was the love of her life.

Here’s an ADULT EXCERPT to tempt you further:

“Bel-la.” Rod gathered her tighter and simply hugged her, burying his face in her hair.

For a second, the world stopped and her heart melted as he pressed his chest into hers. His woodsy, clean scent blended with the lemony smell of his starched shirt. She heard him inhale deeply, and the loneliness over the past few weeks faded away. Spreading her fingers wide, she slid them into the softness of his hair before gliding down to knead the muscles of his upper back.

“You’re tense.”

“I’m sexually frustrated.” His mouth found her earlobe. The metal on her earring clanked against his teeth. She let out a low chuckle.

“Me, too.”

“You smell like lavender and vanilla and taste cinnamony and sweet.”

“Then eat me up.”

“I intend to.” His palm slipped to her breast, giving it a firm squeeze before rubbing her nipple through the coat.

The satin lining stimulated her nipples further. “Hmm,” she moaned as her head fell back, and she arched into his hand. Rod granted her silent request, tugging at the knot at her waist and pushing the coat off her shoulders. His eyebrows shot up at seeing her unclothed. A large grin stretched across his beautiful mouth, his lips full and moist from kissing her.

“Come to my office and sit on my lap anytime.” He bent to lick a nipple.

She dug her nails into his back. “Yes, darlin’.”

“Patience, princess.” His tongue twirled around her areola as he squeezed her other breast. Switching his lips to it, he sucked the entire thing into this mouth.

His cock rubbed against her inner thigh, teasing her pussy with its nearness. Shifting her weight, she rotated her hips so his dick touched her clit. She was dying to have his long, hot, velvety dick deep inside her, stretching her wide. Her juices dripped in anticipation. “More,” she said, hoping to hurry him up. He groaned his approval and slid his fingers to her pussy, parting the folds, and rolling her clit back and forth with the tip of his finger. Sensations exploded, shattering her composure into a million pieces then melting them into a warm, liquid pool of satisfaction that heated her skin. Every nerve ending, every cell seemed attuned to his touch.

She moaned so loudly he raised a finger to her lips in a shushing gesture. Her response was to take it into her mouth and suck. God, she’d never felt such abandonment, such freedom at acting like a—what was the word? Siren. Yes, Campbell had discovered a side of herself she’d never known existed. Rod had coaxed a bit out in Italy, but now she felt all her inhibitions slip away. She wanted to show him that she was as wild and sexy as his other women.

Her fingers worked in desperate, quick movements to loosen his tie and undo his buttons. She pulled the shirt from his pants, spread the material, and dipped her head to taste his nipples. When she began to unbuckle his belt, he stilled her.

“Tell me you’re kidding.”

“It’s my turn, you seductive minx.” He reached behind her and sent papers flying to the floor. Circling his hands around her hips, he lifted her onto the desk.

Raising her foot to his chest, she lightly speared him in the heart with her stiletto. He grabbed her ankle and deposited her foot on the arm of his massive leather chair. He did the same with her other leg then, running his hands from her calves to her knees, he pushed her legs wide. And feasted.

“Rod!” she gasped when his tongue made one long lick up her slit.

“Trust me, baby. You’ll love it.” He spread her folds with his fingers as his tongue streaked over her nub. “Hmm. You taste good. Always wondered what a girl raised on Southern sunshine would taste like.” He kissed her inner thigh and went back to licking her clit.

“Yes! Oh God, yes!”

He made a hushing sound.

“I can’t help it,” she whimpered. Asking her to be quiet was like telling her to go catch some minnows by hand.

His tongue lapped and brushed her sensitive spot, sending her into a spiraling need. She grabbed a handful of his hair, pressing his face harder into her pussy. He slipped his tongue into her hole. Her head spun, but he gave her no mercy as he pulled out to suck a pussy lip.

He tugged, gently scraping his teeth over it then making a smacking sound as he released it. “So long,” he mumbled before pulling the other into his mouth and repeating the exquisite procedure.  Rod slipped his thumb into her hole, rotating his wrist as he pumped her. His tongue returned to her clit, jiggling it back and forth. Her legs quivered and threatened to slip off the chair. She draped them over his shoulders. He stuck a hand under her ass and lifted her hips off the desk. Campbell crossed her ankles, trapping him between her legs and gyrating her hips as fulfillment closed in.

“Please, darlin’. Make me c–come,” she begged between pants.

He sucked like nobody’s business and swallowed her passion as she came fast. Rod reached to cover her mouth with his hand as she screamed and shuddered violently. He continued to lap up her pussy juices.

Holy fuck. Campbell thought she’d died and gone to heaven.

As her contractions slowed, he stood, causing her legs to straighten against the length of his body. He got his pants off enough for his cock to spring free. Positioning the head at her entrance, he plunged deep.

She watched him bite his lip. “Not so easy to keep quiet, is it?”

The Pepper O'Malley Chronicles Part 3: Temp Cover

Something interesting is going on in the land of book covers.

For the first time since I've published, I discovered that Harlequin has put up "temp" covers for the Cosmo Red-Hot Reads.

Each of the books that I've found on Amazon by Lauren Dane, Tawny Weber, and Helen Kay Dimon all show the same wildly sexy raspberry-red covers with the Cosmo logo.

Here’s the RED-HOT Temp Cover for my Cosmo Red Hot-Read: NAKED SUSHI!!

Temp Cover for "Naked Sushi"
Temp Cover for “Naked Sushi”

She gets fired.
Was it her fault she got caught in the copy room with her pants down with a hunky thief?
The only way Pepper can get her job back is to become a naked sushi model and spy on her ex-boss.

Headed to God's Country! Ooh! And My New Cover!

Ireland, here I come!

Yes! I'm going back to Ireland! God's Country! Eire!

Sigh.

I love Ireland. The history. The beauty of the land. The people. I first travelled there in 2007, and have been so eager to return ever since.

St. Patrick's Bridge
Why Ireland? I've had a grand passion for this country for years, and the blame can be placed squarely on Nora Roberts' shoulders. I fell in love with God's Country from her Born In series. How she described the beautiful land and people, the myths and history... She made me believe I could find my own Rogan or Murphy in this land of tragic lyrics, haunting music and never-say-die warriors. Well, I ended up finding my hero in Alabama, but still...

St. Finbarre's Cathedral
I leave for Cork City this July, and one of the things I'm looking forward to is carrying my notebook around and jotting down notes about pubs, landmarks, people and stories. I want to capture my impressions of the historical structures to the sounds and accents on Winthrop Street. Because when I return home, all of it will be applied to a new book set in my favorite country! A brooding Irishman with dark hair and blue eyes. A sexy brogue. Green, patchwork fields and rolling hills. A large bed and roaring fire as rain falls and mists outside. Yeah... I have no idea what the plot or character arc will be but it will have my sexy hero with an accent and a big bed!

But before I bow out to go dream about my trip and new hero, guess who has a new cover and release? ME! That's right! The second book in the Dark Judgment series, Bitten by Ecstasy, is coming out on June 21 2013!

Blurb:
A brutal attack left Bastien Sarris for dead. But a chance encounter with a mysterious female drags him back from the brink of death—and transforms the hippogryph healer into a monster he doesn’t recognize. Now a terrible hunger consumes him—one that is becoming impossible to satisfy. Desperate for a cure, he hunts the cruxim who cursed him to a hellish existence. But the petite warrior ignites a fierce desire that overwhelms the sweet call of blood.

For three hundred years, Sinéad lived and hunted as a cruxim—a winged vampire hunter. But one sacrificial act stripped her of immortality, leaving her human, vulnerable and unprepared for the reappearance of Bastien in her life. The hippogryph shifter is harder and colder than she remembers…and he triggers an onslaught of need that’s as powerful as it is unfamiliar. She craves his kiss, his touch. Yet even as she surrenders to this newfound passion, she faces a crucial decision—betray the man she’s come to love and regain her immortality—or save Bastien and condemn herself to a human life and death.
