I seem to have missed out the comedian. Ronnie Barker was pretty damn funny.
And I'm SO with you on the Saab. Absolute classic! My dad had one (think it actually was the 900S, might have been SE), he still misses it!
Hey, Cat! I don't know what it is about that car—its shape, maybe—but it just gets me all excited. The Mini Coopers used to do that to me, but now they're so ubiquitous… Old Saabs are endangered, which makes them even more thrilling to spot.
Love me an old 70s Mercedes S-class too. Any 20+ year old car is a fairly rare sighting in New England, as our salted winter roads gnaw rusty holes in them like moths.
Plenty of old cars in old England, Cara! Still see a couple of those 900s around sometimes.
And I've also realised I typed Divine Comedy wrong. They don't dive!
