I still to this day remember Comes the Blind Fury by him...that is one of the freakiest, scariest books ever!

And Seven...yes, deeply, DEEPLY disturbing!!Naima Simonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12269175037270984886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-295035878432187803.post-14778284736372228722010-10-05T20:13:46.992-04:002010-10-05T20:13:46.992-04:00Hi, Dalton!

There's this neighborhood where we live that closes off all the streets so it's one big Halloween town where all the kids can dress up and go trick-or-treating! It's wonderful!! They have graveyards, smoke machines, dragons, spiders (AAAAHHHHH!!!) and witches on roofs. We have an awesome time!Naima Simonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12269175037270984886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-295035878432187803.post-6284546714318689512010-10-05T14:12:07.931-04:002010-10-05T14:12:07.931-04:00We do a big Halloween, too - fog machine, huge pro...We do a big Halloween, too - fog machine, huge props, scary music - Hey Dalton - we must be kindred spirits;-)
Scarier than movies for me are books since my imagination ramps up the terror. John Saul and Dean Koonz are favorites. And some Stephen King. Of course, a group can't share that experience.
I like your movie choices. My top picks are more thriller than horror. Number one - Dressed to Kill. Blair Witch Project is up there as is Seven (although that one was deeply disturbing more than scary).Wynterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13611293420659353094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-295035878432187803.post-34287353341814141122010-10-05T12:27:58.744-04:002010-10-05T12:27:58.744-04:00I can't watch that stuff, or read it, and slee...I can't watch that stuff, or read it, and sleep at night. We do Halloween up big here, tho - scary show for the kids. Hubby really gets into it with the monster thing. Had one kid a couple years ago ask me if I'd bought him at Spencers! We have fog machines, motion activated stuff, and I go nuts on the pumpkins.
Love that it's all setup and over in one night, too.Dalton Diazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05176463811948745241noreply@blogger.com
