Thanks
so much for having me on your blog! I love the banner and all your posts! I'm
really excited about being a guest here today, because my bio specifically
states my romance novels focus on playfully naughty relationships, and where
better to share some snippets of naughty than with the Naughty Author Chicks!
Here are
some snippets of naughty from my contemporary romance, Reforming the Cowboy:
Snippet 1:
She collapsed in a heap on the
stage, staring at the darkened overhead lights. She didn't know what to say.
She'd never had so many orgasms in her life, and she'd never had completely
silent sex before.
Thank
you thank you thank you ran through her mind.
Snippet 2:
Her brows furrowed but a smile
tugged on the corners of her mouth. “I don’t want to be one in a long line.”
“Darlin’, there hasn’t been a line
in years.”
She crawled onto her hands and knees
and kissed him fiercely, and one more piece of him melted into her. When he
left, would she remember tonight as something special or just the fulfillment
of a college crush?
Snippet 3:
They
weren’t compatible in any way. Except in bed. But sex did not make a
relationship. She closed her eyes as images of them in her shower whizzed
through her memories. She didn’t want to break up with a fight or read about
him with some other woman in the tabloids. She also didn’t want a long,
drawn-out effort where they lost sight of the good times. Their last moment
together should be the laughing, panting after-sex glow she held clear in her
head.

I hope
you enjoyed those sneak peeks into my first novel. What are some playfully
naughty novels you've read and loved?
Bio: Marisa
Cleveland loves to laugh, hates to cry, and does both often. As a writer, she
writes. Every day. If she couldn’t express herself through writing, music, and
dance, she would die. Perhaps because she married her best friend, her adult
romance novels focus on playfully naughty relationships developed through
friendship and family-oriented values. She believes romance novels are the
perfect “how to” books, because no matter the obstacles, the characters keep working
toward their happily ever after. She loves to connect with writers and readers
through social media. Visit her website (www.marisacleveland.com) to find where
she is online.
Book
Title: Reforming
the Cowboy: A South Beach Book
Book Blurb:
Country singer Billy Hardy needs to get back on the charts. His
manager assures him headlining the opening of a cafe in South Beach is his best
chance at getting back to the big time. If he fails, his career is over for
good this time.
Lacey Durant can't believe opening night includes the country singer she crushed on through college. And her customers agree he's dreamy. But his playboy reputation threatens her cafe's image and she can't afford that. She insists Billy stay with her so she can keep an eye on him, and thwart overenthusiastic fans.
Billy's charms and Lacey's sexy curves prove
more than either can resist, but she refuses to be just another lyric in his
well-known songs of heartbreak.
