Vine

I love Twitter.

Everyday I check out the tweets and look to see who's doing something fun, interesting or informative. I've also made Twitter friends with pundits, photographers, and poets. I enjoy the artistic endeavors of these followers and I try to contribute something creative on my end.

What does this have to do with writing?

The secret is in that second paragraph.

Creative.

Writing short poetry or coming up with something interesting to say stirs the juices of my mind and makes me think. And that helps my writing. Gives me new perspective on things, whether it's a quote or a photo of a cupcake.

Yes, I said cupcake.

I've also discovered the world of cupcakery.

Wonderful websites and blogs with glorious cupcakes that will make your mouth water and your mind go crazy with new, fun ways for your hero and heroine to enjoy these creamy delights.

Licking comes to mind...but I digress.

Recently, a new app from Twitter appeared on the yellow brick road of social media called Vine. Sex-second videos, I mean six-second videos (yes, I really did make that typo as I was writing this!) that can be as creative as you are.

What a fun, new way to tell our stories...but in six seconds?

I decided to give it a try with Naked Sushi about spy wanabe PEPPER O’MALLEY who gets more than she bargained for when she discovers her sleazy boss is hiding corporate secrets.
She gets fired.
Was it her fault she got caught in the copy room with her pants down with a hunky thief?
The only way Pepper can get her job back is to become a naked sushi model and spy on her ex-boss.
She’s thrown into a world of corporate espionage she never imagined…

I decided on a written-words-on-the page promo for Naked Sushi.

Here is the first line of my Cosmo Red-Hot Read from Harlequin in stop-motion.

The first line of Naked Sushi looping from here to eternity...

What writer could ask for more?

NAKED SUSHI is available for pre-order on Amazon!

I never got into twitter. I mostly retweet news my friends post. LOL
Good for you for sharing your creativity there, Jina! I'm more of a FB girl...but on that note: Who doesn't love cupcakes? LOL
