The Pepper O'Malley Chronicles: Part 1

Like Pepper O’Malley, my computer programmer heroine in “Naked Sushi,” (Cosmo Red Hot Read from Harlequin Oct 2013), I worked in a male-dominated world.

Kids’ TV animation.

Shoot-em up, wild superheroes, crazy monsters, laser guns, battle scenes. You name it, I did it.

The funny thing is, the fans still remember.

In this raw footage from an interview I did for the M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armor Strike Command) DVD, I talk about any disadvantages being female on the show and also about writing scripts for TV and what it was like to work in that world.

What you'll see is "behind the scenes" footage of me being interviewed for "extras" in a complete set of episodes for the show. The "green" screen was later filled in with scenes from the cartoon show and sweetened with theme music for the DVD.

How cool is that? Wow, Jina! That's awesome! I remember M.A.S.K. LOL! It was during my G.I.Joe and Thundercats phase. Hee-hee! Actually, I don't think I've grown out of that...

You continue to amaze me, Jina!

So glad you enjoyed M.A.S.K., Naima. I worked on other shows, too, like Gobots and He-Man. Ah, yes, the wild days of animation...fond memories.
