Jina's Venice Videos: Designer Boutiques

I love shopping. Paris, Rome…and Venice. Yes, Venice. You wouldn’t believe how many designer boutiques and cute little shops I found located along the narrow streets of this wonderful city.

Smart, sophisticated…and funky. Everything from glittery gowns to rhinestone jeans. And shoes to die for…you’ll see a pair of sexy black and red stilettos that I fell in love with as well as gorgeous jewelry fit for an Italian contessa.

And my favorite boutique, Blumarine, located steps away from my hotel. It’s a Cinderella shop showcasing the prettiest and most feminine dresses any fairy godmother would be proud of.

No surprise Venice has such cool fashion shops. Early Venetian merchants were known for importing splendor into the city in the form of wine and gems, silks, brocades and cloth of gold that dazzled the ladies of their time. Velvets, satins.

I swear I could still hear the rustle of taffeta and smell the lingering scent of sinful perfume everywhere I walked, conjuring up visions of romantic interludes as I explored the city…and so will you.

I'm drooling. I can hardly control myself when I go to New York. I'd go bust in Venice!

Ooh, shopping in Venice. If it wasn't such a romantic city, might be worth considering leaving DH behind and just bringing the credit card!

So true, Wynter...and you have to also consider the exchange rate of the euro when you buy those sexy shoes. But it's so much fun to look!

Glad you enjoyed the video!!

You gotta bring your hubby, Dalton--just imagine you in that sexy new dress and stilettos holding hands with your man while you stroll together under the Venetian moonlight...

I've been loving all the videos you've been posting of your trip - this episode was definitely one of my faves! I love shopping and Venice seems to be a hotbed of great shops & boutiques. Those shoes you featured were scandalously delicious! (Hope you got them!) as for Blumarine - one of my absolute fave labels - they have such awesome clothing (borders on ethereal for most pieces).

*hugs*

Thank you so much, Anna, for your super comments re: my Venice Videos! I love the fashion video, too--it's fun to look at all the pretty clothes.

Yes, Bluemarine is like stepping through a magic portal into another world. Fairy-princess time for sure.

Next week is Pizza--with pictures and video of my fave pizza place in Venice!
